- Ceroc is an international Modern Jive franchise popular in the UK, Australia and New Zealand. Ceroc have a presence in Christchurch and very kindly gave our members discounted entry for half a year after the 2011/2012 earthquakes when we were unable to run classes at the UCSA.
- Salsa Latina are a Salsa & Latin dance studio in Christchurch. They run regular classes and events including social dancing evenings. Check their website out for the latest info.
- Swing South teach West Coast Swing - a versatile dance descended from Lindy Hop and other classic American swing styles, but slowed down and danced increasingly to modern music. The result is a stylish dance with a focus on partner connection and improvisation. Ben and Mandi started up Swing South in early 2011 and have been steadily gaining momentum since then.
- Colleen Murray and Karen Tyrell teach competitive Ballroom and Latin, as well as Jazz, Ballet, and Tap classes for children and adults. Contact them by phone at (03) 352-3813 or e-mail Colleen. Karen has taught Cha and Rhumba at our Monday night classes.
- Dance Store sell dance shoes and dance sneakers for modern jive, salsa, west coast swing and rock n roll.
- Latin Fire are an active Christchurch Salsa club with many classes each week.
- Swingtown Rebels teach Lindy Hop, the classic, fast and exciting form of swing dancing that originated in the 30s in America. Our Swing special class a couple of years back was taught by their instructor Pete.
- Rueda is a fun version of Cuban Salsa where couples form a circle, and moves are called. The website contains more details on the dance and classes.
- Salsa Sabrosa are a new Christchurch performance Salsa team.
