Hello dancers!

Our improver lessons continue on Mondays, 7:30-10 in the Mix Caf=E9. Beginner lessons continue on Thursdays, 7:30-10 in the UCSA Ballroom.

END OF TERM PARTY

Next Thursday, 18 August 7:30-10 will be the end of term party. Come along for an evening of free dancing of Modern Jive and Latin : ) Normal class price, free if you came on Monday, drinks and nibbles provided. In the UCSA Ballroom.

MODERN JIVE PARTY

Our annual Modern Jive party (The MJ version of Fuego!) will be held on Saturday, September 11, 8-12. The theme is Trash to Flash, so put on your thinking cap and see what creative costumes you can come up with! There will be decorations, nibbles and beverages and of course, DANCING. It will be a great evening to socialize and rock out to your favorite songs. The location will be St Peters Church Hall, Church Corner, Yaldhurst Rd. Pre-sale tickets will be available soon at UCanDance classes, $5 students, $8 non-students, and $10 door sales.

RUEDA INVASION

This was a great success last year, so we=92re giving it another go : ) Basically, we=92ll go in to town and do a rueda, flash-mob style (if you don=92t know what that is, it isn=92t as dodgy as it sounds, promise! Look it up on Youtube, there are some great ones!). The date is Saturday 28 August, time 12:30pm- its coming up soon, during the holidays. More details will come closer to the event.
