Hey everyone!

Welcome to a new week of UCanDance. We're near the end of term now! This week we're having our regular class on Monday - the last of the year, our AGM on Wednesday, and the Chocolate Giveaway on Friday! Monday's class is in Jack Mann DW1, teaching Modern Jive and Bachata. The AGM's at 6.30 in Rehua 226, and the Chocolate Giveaway is at 7.30 in Jack Mann DW2 - see below for more details.
Remember to bring your cash for Monday's class - we also have internet banking available. See below for price details.

This Week's Classes

Our schedule for Monday night will be:

• 7:00pm: Doors open - During this time you can meet and greet other new members, our committee, and some of our teachers! Or even better, ask someone to dance and practice your moves!

• 7.15-8.00: Modern Jive class

• 8.00-8.15: Notices and MJ social dancing.

• 8.15-9.00: Bachata class

• 9:00-10:00: Social dancing to finish the night! Use this time to practice the moves you've learned on the dance floor, get some tips from our teachers, and catch up with other members.

Events Coming Up...

Annual General Meeting
Our AGM is on Wednesday the 14th of October at 6.30pm, running instead of the regular class. This will be at Rehua 226 (the orange building near C block). Come along to help decide the future of UCanDance. Pizza provided.

Chocolate Giveaway
Our Annual Chocolate Giveaway is on this Friday at 7.30pm at Jack Mann DW2! This is a night of fun dancing competitions for chocolate. It's non-serious and there'll be heaps of chocolate for us to giveaway so come along whether you're a beginner or a pro.

Our Classes

Our term 4 styles are Modern Jive and Bachata!

Each night, the moves that are taught in class are filmed and posted in our Facebook group. Be sure to join this and keep up to date with all our events, and be able to use the move videos for practice!

Also in the Facebook group is our teacher feedback form, which really helps us make classes as enjoyable and informative for you guys as possible - if you've got anything you want us to know about our classes (positive or a suggested improvement), leave a response via the form!

As always, you do not need a partner or any dance experience to attend our classes. Wear clothing that is comfortable to move in, and shoes with slightly slippery soles (or dance shoes) are highly recommended.
We encourage you to bring a drink bottle, deodorant, a spare shirt, and a positive attitude!

Classes are $5.00 for students and $7.00 for non-students. If you come to class on Monday, you can come on Wednesday for free! Prices are back to the normal rate since we can now run two classes a week.
If it's your first time in class, it's free as well, so bring all your friends!
All classes will be held in DW1, Jack Mann Auditorium, Dovedale campus.
